Stephen Kelly MRICS is a founding partner of Hamilton Kelly Investment Partnership and a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience in the UK commercial property market.

Stephen began his career with Erdman Lewis, Richard Ellis and Knight Frank, working within agency and investment teams in Glasgow. He became a Partner at Knight Frank before joining AWG Property in 2000 to lead its West of Scotland office and was subsequently appointed to the Property Board in 2005.

During his time at AWG Property, Stephen played a key role in the business’s evolution from a traditional property developer into a diversified property investment and asset management platform.

In 2008, Stephen co-founded Hamilton Kelly Investment Partnership, where he continues to lead the business’s investment, asset management and strategic activities. His responsibilities include investor relations, deal origination, acquisitions, asset management and portfolio strategy across the firm’s UK property investments.

Qualified member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

John is a partner of HKIP and joined in 2014 primarily to identify and secure new property opportunities and deliver asset management initiatives.

Having gained over 25 years’ commercial property experience, John started his career in the commercial agency departments of CBRE then specialised in agency/development at Hartley Cowley where he was a partner before joining AWG Property. John spent 13 years as a director of AWG Property and was involved in a number of significant development and investment transactions. John was on the Property Board of AWG and latterly was responsible for the strategy of the UK property portfolio.

Alan Smith

Alan joined HKIP in 2015 as the Financial Accountant.

He is responsible for the day to day finance function of HKIP and related syndicate companies. Alan began his training in a mid-tier accountancy firm, gaining 10 years’ experience in practice before joining HKIP/Hamilton Group.
